1912 T207 Brown Background SGC-Graded Collection (30) Including Wallace

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,200

Outstanding collection of thirty different 1912 T207 Brown Background cards, each graded and encapsulated by SGC, highlighted by Hall of Famer Bobby Wallace. All cards have a Recruit Little Cigars advertising back except for one "Anonymous" as noted below. SGC Grading Composite: VG 40 (20 cards): Two Block (one from Lionel Carter Collection), Bodie, Carrigan, Collins, Easterly, Hallinan, two Hamilton, Higgins, Knetzer, Leach, McBride, McDonald, Mullin/”D” on cap, Schardt, W. Sweeney (Anonymous), Tooley, Wingo, and Zeider. GOOD 30 (7 cards): Harmon, Kaler, McLean, M. Mitchell, Schaefer, Scott, and Simon. FAIR 20 (2 cards): George and Steele. Authentic (1 card): Wallace (HOF, Nagy Collection). Of potential special note, in the old days Zeider was often cited as being very scarce among T207 Recruit advertising reverse cards. This is a very presentable group that would make an outstanding contribution to any T207 Brown Background set. The equivalent SMR value in the assigned grades (excluding the Wallace) is $1,389. Total: 30 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,200
