1914 E145 Cracker Jack PSA- and SGC-Graded Hall of Famer Collection (3): Huggins, Mack, and Plank

Starting Bid - $400, Sold For - $1,680

Superb trio of 1914 E145 Cracker Jack cards, each graded and encapsulated by PSA (two) or SGC (one, submitted by REA), consisting of Hall of Famers Eddie Plank, Connie Mack, and Miller Huggins. The 1914 #144 series Cracker Jacks are far rarer than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 cards were not available by mail, and could only be obtained one card per package in boxes of Cracker Jacks. Because of their method of issue, 1914 Cracker Jacks are also almost always found with various condition problems including caramel staining. This is an extremely attractive trio of cards featuring these key Hall of Famers. The Mack card (graded PSA VG 3) in particular presents much better than its technically accurate grade. The Huggins (SGC GOOD 30) and Plank (PSA GOOD 2) cards display moderate staining on front and back but are still very presentable. This is an attractive trio of 1914 Cracker Jack Hall of Famers. The SMR value in the assigned grades is $1,500. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $400. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,680
