1908 PC760 Rose Company Postcard George Stone

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $360

Graded GOOD 30 by SGC (submitted by REA). PC760 Rose Postcard example of George Stone of the St. Louis Browns. Among advanced collectors, Rose Postcards are universally regarded as one of the most striking and magnificently designed baseball-card sets ever produced. They are also extremely rare. Crisp image and bold colors, four corners showing light even wear, and an entirely clean, postally unused reverse. Downgraded due to light vertical creasing through the center of the postcard. This is an extremely attractive example from one of the era's most classic sets. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $360
