Circa 1930s "Champ Hats" Advertising Display

Large die-cut cardboard advertising display issued in promotion of "Champ Hats." The colorful image features a football player being carried off the field on the shoulders of fans, with the text above reading "The Winner! Champ Hats - Style Makes the CHAMP." As noted by the original directions affixed to the reverse, this piece was the backdrop to a larger retail display meant to hold Champ hats. The piece (30.5 x 40 inches) displays a few moderate-to-heavy tears (one of which is repaired on the reverse by tape), tack holes, and a few areas of surface abrasion. In Very Good condition overall.
