Six cards are professionally graded and encapsulated by either PSA or SGC. This collection consists of the following: 1-2) 1926-27 Aguilitas #771 Fernando Rios (Fr) and 775 Tomas Calvo (Fr). 3) 1923-24 Billiken Armando Marsans (PSA PR-FR 1). 4) 1909 Cabanas Carlos Royer (Pr). 5-8) 1945-46 Caramelo Deportivo #94 Avelino Canizares (Gd), 95 Santiago Ulrich (Pr), 99 Limonar Martinez (Pr), and 100 Juan Montero (Pr). 9) 1925 Henry Clay & Bock #101 Parque Alamendares de Baseball – Havana (SGC FAIR 20). 10) 1930’s “Crack” Cigarillos #36 Thomas Meighan (Pr). 11) 1931 Cigarrera Bigott Sucs. #16 Guillermo Fung (SGC GOOD 30). 12-13) 1943 Cigarrera Bigott Sucs. #70 Jose Illas (Vg) and 190 Hilario Munoz (Vg-Ex). 14) 1923-24 Tomas Gutierrez #80 Magrinat (SGC VG 40). 15-16) 1943 Imprenta Montiel Miguel Herrera (Pr) and Eusebio Jiminez (Fr). 17) 1927-28 Mallorquina #85 Zalazar (SGC GOOD 30). 18-19) 1923-24 Nacionales Cigarros #C.15 Forinozo (Pr) and C.27 Gutierrez (Pr). 20-22) 1946-47 Propagandas Montiel #54 Paul Derringer (Gd), 86 Rudy York (Pr), and 153 Carl Armstrong (Pr). 23) 1948-49 Toleteros Eugene Collins (SGC GOOD 30). While the condition of this collection is relatively modest (which is to be expected for these cards due to the frequency with which they were housed in albums), this is an extremely interesting assembly of cards from these hard-to-find issues, which would be at home in any sample- or foreign-card collection. Total: 23 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $960
