1909-1911 T206 White Border SGC VG+ 45 Collection (32)

Starting Bid - $400, Sold For - $1,320

Collection of thirty-two different T206 White Border tobacco cards, each graded and encapsulated VG+ 45 by SGC (submitted by REA). All have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising backs, except for one Old Mill, one Polar Bear, and one Sovereign as noted below. This is part of a larger collection of T206 cards, which we have broken down into several smaller lots organized by condition. This lot consists of the following: Abbaticchio/blue sleeves, Ames/hands at chest, Chase/throwing, white cap, Doolin, Dougherty/arm in air, L. Doyle/with bat, Fiene/throwing, Gasper (Polar Bear), Kling, Krause/portrait, Latham, Liebhardt, Magee/with bat, Marshall, McBride, McIntyre/Brooklyn & Chicago, Milan, Moeller, Oakes, Oldring/fielding, Overall/hand face level, Paskert (Sovereign 350), Pfeister/seated, Powers, Schaefer/Detroit, Spencer, Stephens, Summers, Titus, He. Wagner/bat on right shoulder, D. White, and Wilhelm/with bat (Old Mill). This is a very impressive group that would make a significant contribution to the completion of an exceptional high-quality set. The fact that all are in the identical grade, a grade which many believe offers one of the very best values for cards from the classic T206 series, makes this is a particularly noteworthy collection. The equivalent SMR value in the assigned grades is $1,632. Total: 32 cards. Reserve $400. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,320
