Helmar T206 Minor Leaguers Collection (24) with Musial, Joss, Bresnahan, Tinker, and Heilmann

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $300

Collection of twenty-four different Helmar Brewing cards, consisting of minor-league players, from the company's popular "T206" set, which is similar in design to the T206 White Border tobacco-card issue. Although all of the players represented here are depicted as a member of minor league club, many played in the majors, including Hall of Famers Stan Musial, Addie Joss, Roger Bresnahan, Joe Tinker, and Harry Heilmann. The collection is comprised of the following: Adelbert (Salamanca Reservation), Ball (Cedar Rapid Rabbits), Bashang (Omaha Rourkes), Bresnahan (Toledo), Carisch (Sioux Falls), Caveney (Chattanooga), DeFate (Omaha Rourkes), Dobbs (Brooklyn Fed), Dodge (Mobile), G. Engel (Yakima Braves), Hanford (Omaha Roukes), Heilmann (San Francisco), Joss (Toledo Swamp Angels), La Fitte (New Orleans), McColl (South Bend Benders), Meikle (Seattle P.C.L.), Moeller (Jersey City Skeeters), Musial (Rochester), Nill (Seattle P.C.L.), Powers (Omaha Rourkes), Schneider (Seattle P.C.L.), Tinker (Portland Webfoots), D. Williams (Mobile Bears), and Wysterzil (Wichita Witches). The production number for each of the twenty-four "T206" cards offered here was limited to just twenty-five total, with no more than six produced per calendar year. As a point of reference, it should be noted that in sirraffles' most recent individual eBay auctions for the twenty-four cards in this collection, the cumulative sale total was in excess of $1,200. Like all of the Helmar issues, these cards were intentionally produced with a distressed look, with most having rounded corners and rubbed edges. Near Mint condition overall. Total: 24 cards Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $300
