1934 Mickey Cochrane Eisenstein Sheet Music

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $240

Sheet music for the 1934 song Mickey Cochrane Eisenstein That Will Be His Name, written by D. C. Trombley and R. M. Richardville (McLaughlin Studios, Detroit, 1934). This song was written in tribute to Tigers player/manager Mickey Cochrane, who led Detroit to the American League pennant in 1934. Its musical merits aside, the appeal of this piece today is the attractive front cover, which features portrait images of twenty-seven members of the Tigers, including Cochrane, Greenberg, Gehringer, Goslin, Crowder, and York. The sheet music (8.5 x 11.5 inches) is in Good to Very Good condition overall, with one horizontal and two vertical folds, as well as a number of small creases and edge tears.
Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $240
