1955 Bowman Partial Set (160/320) Including 29 PSA-Graded Cards

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $600

38% Ex to Ex-Mt, 49% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 13% lower. Partial set of 1955 Bowman baseball cards consisting of 160 different (out of 320), highlighted by several key Hall of Famers, including Hank Aaron, Roy Campanella, and Bob Feller. The 1955 Bowman cards (Bowman's final baseball-card issue) have always been very popular due to their classic "television" style and inclusion of so many stars. The flush-to-the-border wood-grain design of this issue makes them very susceptible to corner and edge wear. Twenty-nine cards are professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. Keys: #22 Campanella (VG 3), 23 Kaline (VG-EX 4), 33 Fox (VG-EX 4), 37 Reese (GOOD 2), 38 Wynn (pen on back, otherwise Vg), 65 Zimmer RC (EX 5), 134 Feller (VG-EX 4), 179 Aaron (GOOD 2 [MC]), 191 Lemon (VG-EX+ 4.5), 197 Kiner (EX+ 5.5), 213 Kell (VG-EX 4), and 303 Conlan (VG-EX 4). Other Graded Cards: Two EX-MT 6: #214 and 295. One EX+ 5.5: #309. Nine EX 5: #25 Minoso (MK), 160 Skowron, 169 Furillo, 216 Roe, 281, 286, 297, 301, and 311. One VG-EX+ 4.5: #170 Erskine. Four VG-EX 4: #102 Thomson, 289, 302 (MK), and 307. One GOOD 2: #195a. This is a very presentable partial set of this classic issue. Total: 160 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $600
