1909-1911 T206 White Border SGC-Graded Collection (16) - All Sovereign 350 Backs!

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,800

Presented is a collection of sixteen different cards from the classic T206 White Border series, comprised exclusively of cards featuring a desirable Sovereign 350 advertising reverse. Each card is graded and encapsulated by SGC (except for four PSA). Sovereign is a scarce back, not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but very unusual and seen far less often the standard Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising backs. This collection consists of the following: Three EX+ 70: Hall, Perring, and Seymour/throwing. Two EX 60: Clancy (PSA EX 5), and Dooin. Five VG/EX 50: G. Brown/Washington, Cassidy (PSA VG-EX 4), Donlin/with bat (PSA VG-EX 4), Lake/St. Louis, no ball (PSA VG-EX 4), and Randall. Two VG+ 45: Phelan, and Thielman. Three VG 40: T. Jordan/batting, Snodgrass/catching, and Stone. One GOOD+ 35: Camnitz/arms folded. This is a very attractive and desirable collection of sixteen cards featuring a Sovereign 350 advertising reverse. The total SMR value in the assigned grades (factoring in the six half-grades at the lower whole-grade level) is $1,606 without any premium assigned to the unusual Sovereign advertising backs. Total: 16 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,800
