1909-1911 T206 White Border Bill O'Hara - St. Louis Variation

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,700

Graded VG 3 by PSA. Presented is a very attractive technically midgrade example of the rare O'Hara, St. Louis T206 variation. This is an exceptionally attractive card for the rare T206 O'Hara, especially for the grade. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this T206 variation. The offered card is very clean, free of creases, with bold colors, a crisp image, very light staining, rounded corners, and centered to the bottom left. This particular example is of special note as it features partial text from another card’s nameplate at the extreme top edge of the card. The back has bold white printing set against a dark blue background. This is an extremely pleasing midgrade example of one of the key (and in our opinion very underrated) rarities from the classic T206 White Border set. The SMR in the assigned grade is $2,650. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,700
