Hall of Fame Cut-Signature Collection (4) Including Connolly and Bender

Collection of four cut signatures of Hall of Famers who played between the years 1900 and 1950. One of the signatures is on a vintage autograph-album page, while the other three are cuts that have been mounted upon unlined index cards, 1) “C A Bender” in black fountain pen (“9”) on a 3.75 x .75-inch cut taken from a personal check (Ex-Mt). Mounted on an index card. 2) “Thomas H. Connolly” in black fountain pen (“7” because the very top of the “C” in “Connolly” has been cut off) on a 3.75 x .75-inch cut taken from what appears to be a legal document (Ex-Mt). Mounted on an index card. 3) “Goose Goslin” in blue ink (“9”) on an irregularly cut 4 x 1-inch sheet (Ex-Mt). Mounted on an index card. 4) “Joe Gordon” in black fountain pen (“9”) on a vintage autograph-album page (5 x 6.25 inches). Ex-Mt. Also included is a Fred Lindstrom business card (United States Postmaster) upon the front of which Lindstrom has written “Thanks John for asking for my autograph” in blue ink (“9”). 3.5 x 2 inches.
