1934-1936 R327 Diamond Stars Complete Graded Set (108)

Starting Bid - $1,500, Sold For - $4,500

Extremely attractive complete set of R327 Diamond Stars. This classic 1930s gum card issue includes thirty-seven Hall of Famers, and is highlighted by the twelve rare high-number series cards (#97-108) which have always made this issue so difficult to complete. The complete set of 108 cards is graded and encapsulated by GAI (with the exception of four PSA and one SGC). Our consignor purchased this set in its entirety in the early days of GAI, and many of the cards are designated as "First Graded." GAI Grading Composite: NM 7 (1 card): #38. EX-MT+ 6.5 (1 card): #39 Hubbell (HOF). EX-MT 6 (4 cards): #20, 40, 73, and 76. EX+ 5.5 (5 cards): #21, 45, 47, 52, and 85.
