Collection of four identical 8 x 10-inch color photos capturing President Richard Nixon throwing out the ceremonial "first pitch" of the 1969 baseball season on April 7th at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC. The Senators played the Yankees on that day, and the photo captures opposing managers Ted Williams (Senators) and Ralph Houk (Yankees) looking on along with baseball commissioner Bowie Kuhn and American League president Joe Cronin. Each photo has been flawlessly signed in blue Sharpie by Ted Williams, Bowie Kuhn, and Ralph Houk. Two separate labels, each identifying a former owner of the photo, appear on the reverse, otherwise all of the photos remain in spectacular Near Mint condition. Total: 4 photos.
