Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $420

One-page Joe DiMaggio handwritten letter, matted and framed together with two postcards signed by the legendary "Yankee Clipper." In the letter, scripted in black ink on DiMaggio's personal stationery, DiMaggio writes to a friend and thanks him for remembering his birthday. In full: "Hi Jack, Thanks for the birthday card. Being a Yankee fan for the past 58 years, surely must have given you some exciting and argumentative experiences. There's no doubt you can recount the changes in the whole structure of baseball - good and otherwise. Have a happy thanksgiving. Sincerely, Joe." The signature grades "7," while the text grades "8/9." The letter (7 x 7.5 inches) displays a horizontal fold and minor toning. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
