Circa 1960 Paul Waner Single-Signed Ball

Official National League (Giles) ball signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Paul Waner. Waner has scripted his name in blue ink on a side panel, with the signature grading "4/5." This ball dates to the 1958-1962 manufacturing period, a time during which Waner was working as a major league hitting coach. Waner led the National League in batting on three separate occasions and finished his career with a .333 lifetime average, a mark that ranks twenty-sixth all time. A member of the elite 3,000 Hit Club, Waner was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1952. Paul Waner single-signed balls are scarce. This is the first we have ever offered and we cannot recall having seen more than a few other examples over the years. The ball is lightly toned and remains in Excellent condition overall.
