1959 Kahn's Wieners Rocky Colavito PSA NM 7 - Highest Graded!
Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,080
Graded NM 7 by PSA. Highest graded! Exceptional high-grade example of Rocky Colavito (Cleveland Indians) from the 1959 Kahn's Wieners set. Kahn's Wieners cards are one of the few food issues of the era and are far rarer than most other baseball cards issued around the same time period. Kahn's cards from the 1950s are also very difficult to find in high grade because they naturally tended to suffer damage due to being packed with Kahn's meats one card per package (unlike 1960s Kahn's cards which were available in sets by mail). All 1950s Kahn's meats cards are condition rarities! This is an extraordinary example of one of the key stars of the set. Crisp and clean, with a flawless image and four sharp corners showing tiny touches of wear under close inspection. Clean reverse. An outstanding high-grade sample from this distinctive and very scarce 1960s regional issue. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,080
