1949 Bowman #24 Stan Musial PSA MINT 9 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $3,900

Graded MINT 9 by PSA. One of only nine examples at this impressive level, with none higher, out of 718 cards evaluated to date. Stunning ultra high-grade 1949 Bowman example of Hall of Famer Stan Musial. This is one of Musial’s most striking and popular cards, and one of the great classics of postwar bubble-gum cards. 1949 Bowmans are extremely hard to find in high grade in part because these cards often naturally have soft corners due to the quality of the paper stock on which they are printed. The offered example of key card Stan Musial has a perfectly crisp image, with flawless registration, and crisp, perfect off-white borders. Flawlessly clean, both front and back, with four sharp corners, and outstanding centering. This is a remarkably crisp, ultra high-grade pack-fresh gem example of one of Musial’s most classic cards, worthy of the finest 1949 Bowman or Hall of Fame card collection. The SMR value in the assigned grade is $4,000. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,500++. SOLD FOR $3,900
