1932 R328 U.S. Caramel PSA- and SGC-Graded Collection (4)

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $840

Outstanding collection of four different R328 U.S. Caramel cards, each professionally graded by PSA or SGC. The 1932 multisport set produced by U.S. Caramel is considerably rarer than Goudeys and most other 1930s sets, and has long been recognized as among the most desirable issues of the era. With their distinctive red backgrounds, they are also widely regarded as one of the most striking of all 1930s card issues. This collection consists of the following: #13 L. Waner (HOF, PSA EX 5), 15 Tunney (SGC EX+ 70, cancelled stamp on reverse), 24 O'Doul (SGC EX 60), and 28 Brandt (PSA EX 5). This is a very attractive collection of three baseball players and one key boxer from the scarce and desirable U.S. Caramel set. The total SMR value for the four cards is $1,200. Total: 4 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $840
