1921 to 1929 Exhibit Card Collection (182) Including 43 Hall of Famers

Sizeable collection of 134 Exhibit cards spanning the years 1921 to 1929 plus forty-eight R315 cards from the same era for a total of 182 cards. Eleven different Exhibits sets are featured within this collection, which is highlighted by forty-three Hall of Fame cards. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1921 Exhibits (23 cards, 21 different): Bancroft (HOF, Fr), Collins (HOF, Pr, mounted), Coveleski (HOF, Pr, mounted), Dauss, Fournier, Gowdy, Grimes (HOF, Fr), two Harris (HOF, both Pr), Lavan, Mays, McInnis, Naylor, Powell, Rapp, Ring, Rice (HOF, Pr, mounted), Schang, Scott, Shanks, two Veach, and Wingo. Condition of non-HOF players is five Vg to Ex, and ten lesser, including one heavily trimmed. 2) 1922 Exhibits (9 cards, 8 different): Barber, Duncan, Johnson, Maisel, O’Neil, Smith (Port.), two Smith (Standing), and Cl. Walker. Condition is two Vg, seven lesser. 3) 1922 Eastern Exhibit Supply Co. Exhibits (2 cards): Hollocher (Vg-Ex) and Rommel (Fr, due to pencil on reverse, otherwise Vg-Ex). 4) 1923-1924 Exhibits (4 cards): Galloway, Groh, High, and Jamieson. Condition is Vg to Vg-Ex. 5) 1925 Exhibits (10 cards): Bigbee, Freigau, Grantham, Gray, D. Harris, Jamieson, Mueller, Shawkey, Stock, and Wingo. Condition is four Vg and six Fr to Gd. 6) 1925-1931 Postcard Back Exhibits (11 cards, 10 different): Barnes, Fournier, Frisch (STL, HOF, Fr), Heilmann (HOF, Fr), Hornsby (CHI, HOF, Fr), Judge, McQuillan, Meusel, Peckinpaugh (WAS, Vg-Ex), Peckinpaugh (CLE, Pr), and two Todt (Plain). Condition of the balance is one Vg and six Pr to Gd. 7) 1926 Exhibits (7 cards): Combs (HOF, Pr, mounted), Hargrave, Hauser, O’Neil, Snyder, E. Taylor, and J. Taylor. Condition is four Vg and two Pr to Gd. 8) 1927 Exhibits (18 cards, 17 different): two Adams, Burns, Collins (HOF, Fr due to pencil on reverse, otherwise Vg), Hargrave, Heathcote, Henline, High, Hornsby (HOF, Gd), Hunnefield, Lazzeri (HOF, Fr due to pencil on reverse, otherwise Vg-Ex), McInnes, Myatt, Neis, Rixey (HOF, Fr), Southworth (HOF, Pr mounted), Traynor (HOF, Fr), and Wingo. Condition of non-HOF players is Fr to Gd, including some with pencil on reverse that are otherwise Vg. 9) 1928 Exhibits (46 cards, 45 different of the 64 in the set): Missing the following for completion: Alexander (HOF), Ehmke, Fothergill, Frisch (HOF), Gehrig (HOF), Hargrave, Hartnett (HOF), Lindstrom (HOF), Roush (HOF), Ruth (HOF), Shang, Shocker, Simmons (HOF), E. Smith, Uhle, Whitehill, Wilson (HOF), Woodall and Zitzman. Condition is nine Vg to Vg-Ex, including Carey, and the balance grades Pr to Gd. 10) 1928 Pacific Coast League Exhibits (1 card): Dittmar (Pr). 11) 1929-1930 Four-on-One Exhibits (3 cards): Martin/Autrey/Metzler/Reynolds (Fr), Averill (HOF)/Falk/Holloway/Sewell (Gd), and Regan/Todt/Rhyne/Taitt (Pr). 12) 1929-1930 R315 (48 cards, 31 different of the 46 in the set): Missing the following for completion: Bottomley (HOF), Gehrig (HOF), Grimes (HOF), Grove (HOF), Haas, Hendricks, Hubbell (HOF), O’Doul, Pennock (HOF), Ruth (HOF), Terry (HOF), Traynor (HOF), Waner (HOF), Wilson (HOF), and Zachary. Condition is Vg to Ex, with nine lesser, including Foxx, Frisch, Lindstrom, and two Vance.
