1914 E145 Cracker Jack #23 Charles Comiskey PSA EX-MT 6

Starting Bid - $400, Sold For - $1,320

Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series of Hall of Famer Charles Comiskey. This is one of the most sought-after cards of the "Old Roman." The 1914 #144 series Cracker Jacks are far rarer than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 cards were not available by mail, and could only be obtained one card per package of Cracker Jacks. Because of their method of issue, 1914 Cracker Jacks are also almost always found with various condition problems, including caramel staining. This example boasts deep and vibrant colors, light traces of caramel staining, centering slightly to the left, and four strong corners. Only four examples have ever been graded higher by PSA. This is an extremely attractive (and for 1914 Cracker Jack in extremely high grade) example of one of Charles Comiskey's most classic cards. Reserve $400. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,320
