1919 T213 Coupon Cigarettes SGC-Graded Collection (3) Including Rare Factory No. 8 Overprint!

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,080

Extremely attractive collection of three T213 (Type 3) Coupon Cigarette cards, each graded and encapsulated by SGC: Mickey Doolan/fielding (SGC VG+ 45, Factory No. 8 overprint), George McQuillan (SGC VG+ 45), and Nap Rucker (SGC VG 40). T213 (Type 3) is a very interesting issue. Similar in design and borrowing the same images as T206, T213 (Type 3) is believed to have been issued exclusively in the Louisiana area, and was the very last of the traditional tobacco-card sets. The set was issued in 1919. T213 (Type 3) Coupons are far rarer than their T206 counterparts, and one of tobacco-card collecting's most overlooked issues. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $1,080
