1909-1911 T206 White Border Bunk Congalton - Broad Leaf 350 Back - The ONLY Graded Example!

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,800

Graded GOOD 30 by SGC (submitted by REA). Extremely attractive example of Bunk Congalton (Columbus) with a desirable Broad Leaf 350 advertising reverse. This is the ONLY example of Congalton featuring a Broad Leaf 350 reverse ever graded (at any level) by PSA and SGC! (PSA only started designating advertising backs within the past few years, so it is theoretically possible that another example with a Broad Leaf back shows as unclassified in its Population Report, but we would have no way of knowing.) Broad Leaf 350 series backs are unusual and very rare, though not quite as rare as the rarest T206 advertising backs (such as Broad Leaf 460 series, Drum, or Uzit). According to, the Broad Leaf 350 series back ranks as the ninth scarcest on its list of thirty-nine different T206 advertising backs. Clean and crisp with a flawless image, outstanding centering, bold colors, and light wear to the four corners, including a small crease in the lower right. A small stain on the front near the right border is the only other noticeable flaw. The important Broad Leaf advertisement is well centered and boldly printed in brown ink. An outstanding opportunity to acquire a very attractive example of one of the premier T206 rare backs, and an exceedingly rare front-back combination. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $1,800
