1909-1911 T206 White Border Red Kleinow Boston PSA EX-MT 6 - Polar Bear Back

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,200

Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Outstanding example of Red Kleinow, Boston variation, from the T206 White Border set. To date, PSA has graded 285 examples of this card, with only fourteen grading higher than EX-MT. Since the days of Jefferson Burdick and before, this team-designation variation has always been recognized as one of the more difficult cards in the T206 set. The offered card is extremely bright and crisp, with near-perfect centering and strong corners. The back is also bright and clean, with advertising for Polar Bear Cigarettes (centered slightly to the right). This is an extremely attractive example of this T206 variation (with its strong condition of all the greater note due to the condition sensitivity of T206 cards with Polar Bear backs) which would be at home in any complete set or prewar-card collection. SMR value for the assigned grade is $850. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,200
