1909-1911 T206 White Border Harry Lord - Broad Leaf 350 Back - The ONLY Graded Example!
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $3,900
Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. Outstanding high-grade example of Harry Lord (Boston Red Sox) with a desirable and rare Broad Leaf 350 advertising reverse. This is the ONLY example of Lord featuring a Broad Leaf 350 reverse ever graded (at any level) by PSA and SGC! (Note: Our consignor purchased this card in a PSA VG-EX 4 holder and crossed it over to SGC for his collection, so while both PSA and SGC show an entry for this card, this is, in fact, the exact same card. There is only one known and this is it.) Broad Leaf 350 series backs are unusual and very rare, though not quite as rare as the rarest T206 advertising backs (such as Broad Leaf 460 series, Drum, or Uzit). According to T206Resource.com, the Broad Leaf 350 series back ranks as the ninth scarcest on its list of thirty-nine different T206 advertising backs. The offered example presents with a crisp image, extremely bold colors, and light touches of wear to the corners (slightly more in the upper left). It is well centered, with a particularly large top border. The important Broad Leaf advertisement is boldly printed in brown ink and well centered. In addition to being an exceedingly rare (possibly unique) T206 front-back combination, this is an outstanding opportunity to acquire a very attractive example of one of the premier T206 rare backs. Reserve $500. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $3,900
