Graded VG 40 by SGC. Highest-graded example! Exceptionally attractive example of Hall of Famer Vic Willis (with bat) featuring the extremely rare Uzit back. According to, Uzit ranks as the sixth most difficult advertising back (out of thirty-nine) to find. Even a common player T206 Uzit back card is highly desirable, but a Hall of Famer, of course, is all the more noteworthy. The card is bright and crisp, with bold colors, outstanding centering, and even wear at the corners (slightly more to the bottom two). Two very faint creases pass through the lower third of the card, visible under close inspection, and contribute to the assigned grade. The blue Uzit advertising print on the reverse is entirely clean. This is an exceptionally rare back variety of this classic Vic Willis card from the premier tobacco-card set of the era. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
