1909-1911 T206 White Border Kid Elberfeld - Washington, Portrait SGC-Graded Pair

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $720

Presented are two examples of the rare T206 Elberfeld (portrait), Washington, variation. This card has always been recognized as one of the key rarities of the T206 White Borders tobacco-card series. Both cards are graded and encapsulated by SGC (submitted by REA) and originate from an extremely old-time collection. The two cards are graded VG 40 and GOOD+ 35, and each presents with a bold red background, even wear to the corners, and light, unobtrusive wrinkling or creasing. Both cards have a Piedmont reverse. This is an extremely attractive pair of one of the very scarce cards in the classic T206 White Border set, each of which would be a welcome addition to any near-complete T206 collection. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $720
