Autographed Baseball-Card Collection (49) - Including 29 Different Hall of Famers

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $840

This collection of forty-nine autographed items is comprised mainly of baseball cards, but also includes four Perez-Steele Hall of Fame postcards, two small photos, and a cut. A total of twenty-nine Hall of Famers are represented, many more than once. With few exceptions, all of the baseball cards are modern issues (various distributors) dating from the 1980s and 1990s. (We will note any vintage pre-1970 card issues in our listing.) Seventeen of the cards in this collection are from the 1993 Nabisco All Star Autographs set of six cards, which includes one example of the rare Don Drysdale card (Drysdale died during the distribution of the set) and duplicates for the other five players in the set: Willie Stargell, Ernie Banks, Catfish Hunter, Phil Neikro, and Brooks Robinson. Players represented in this collection are listed here alphabetically, with the number of cards for each player (if more than one) noted in parentheses. Nearly all of the autographs are executed in blue Sharpie and, unless otherwise noted, grade "9" or "10."
