Read this lot carefully! This is an unusual and fascinating group of vintage multisigned baseballs with many highlight signatures! Collection of seven multisigned balls, most of which include a number of Hall of Fame players. 1) Fifteen signatures, in various inks (ranging in grade from "2" to 9," averaging "4") on an official National League (Giles) ball (dating from the 1952-1957 manufacturing period), including Bill Terry, Pie Traynor, Red Ruffing, Satchel Paige, Frank Frisch, Earle Combs, Lloyd Waner, Sam Rice, Harry Hooper, Waite Hoyt, Roy Campanella (secretarial), Rube Marquard, Whitey Witt, and Mrs. Babe Ruth. In Very Good condition, with moderate soiling. 2) Twenty-one blue-ink signatures (averaging "6") on an official American League (Cronin) ball (dating from the 1960-1969 manufacturing period), including Al Lopez (sweet spot), Bill McKechnie, Early Wynn, Paul Waner, Tony Cuccinello, John Cooney, George Susce, Max Lanier, and Jim Turner. In Very Good condition, with light age spotting. 3) Twenty-two blue or black-ink signatures (averaging "4") on an official American League (Cronin) ball (dating from the 1960-1969 manufacturing period), including Don Drysdale, Yogi Berra (sweet spot), Robin Roberts (sweet spot), George Weiss, Ford Frick, Warren Giles, Gil Hodges, and Don Muller. In Good condition, with shellac and a mounting hole on the sweet spot. 7) Nine blue or black-ink signatures (averaging "5") on a Wilson "Official American Association" ball, including Johnny Vander Meer (sweet spot), Mace Brown, John Rigney, and Del Ennis. This ball appears to feature the signatures of a service team that included a number of professionals, as a notation below Rigney's signature reads "7/14/45 (Guam)." In Good condition.
