Negro League Autograph Collection - Multisigned and Single-Signed Balls and Bat (15) with Bell, Doby, Dandridge, Day, and Johnson

This Negro League autograph collection is comprised of a multisigned bat, two multisigned balls, and twelve single-signed balls. 1) Multisigned Bat. Cooperstown Bat Company commemorative bat ("The Negro Leagues 1920-1960"), signed in gold paint pen (grading "9" or "10") by twenty-one former Negro League players, including Larry Doby, Leon Day, Buck Leonard, Monte Irvin, Sam Jethroe, Al Wilmore, Lyman Bostock Sr., Lester Lockett, Bill Wright, Edsall Walker, Jim Cohen, Art Pennington, Max Manning, Artie Wilson, Buck O'Neill, "Double Duty" Radcliffe, and Joe Black. The bat (34 inches long) remains in Near Mint condition. 2-3) Two Multisigned Balls. The first is an official American League (Brown) ball signed in blue ink (grading "9" or "10") by sixteen players, including Leon Day, Lyman Bostock Sr., Gene Benson, Sam Jethroe, Tommy Sampson, Artie Wilson, Bill Wright, Art Pennington, Lestor Lockett (sweet spot), Edsall Walker (sweet spot), Willie Grace, "Double Duty" Radcliffe (in blue marker, grading "7"), and Wilmer Fields (in blue marker, grading "7"). The ball displays moderate, scattered age toning; otherwise it is in Near Mint condition. The second ball is an official National League (White) ball signed in blue ink (grading "9" or "10") by the following nine players: Jim Cohen, Charlie Biot, Bill Cash, Bobby Robinson, Max Manning (sweet spot), Larry Kimbrough (sweet spot), Mahlon Duckett, Armando Vazquez, and Josh Gibson Jr. There are also two blue-marker signatures on the ball (illegible, grading "6"). The ball displays moderate, scattered age toning, otherwise it is in Near Mint condition. 4-15) Twelve Single-Signed Balls. Unless otherwise noted, all of the balls are official American or National League balls (dating from the 1980s or 1990s) and have been signed (in a variety of inks) on the sweet spot, with the signatures grading "9" or "10." The number of balls for each player, if more than one, is noted in parentheses. The players represented here are Monte Irvin (personalized "To John"), Larry Doby, Ray Dandridge (grading "8"), Judy Johnson, "Cool Papa" Bell (side panel), Leon Day, Buck Leonard, Bill Wright (on side panel and sweet spot), Lorenzo Davis, Buck O'Neill (2 balls; one signature grading "6"), and Joe Black. All of the balls display varying degrees of age toning and soiling. In Very Good condition overall. Total: 15 items (multisigned bat, 2 multisigned balls, and 12 single-signed balls).
