1958 New York Yankees World Champions Team-Signed Ball

Spalding "Yankees" souvenir ball signed in blue ink by the following twenty-four members of the 1958 World Champion New York Yankees: Berra (sweet spot), Ford, Slaughter, Carey, Siebern, Richardson, Shantz, Howard, McDougald, Simpson, Larsen, Ditmar, Kucks, Bauer, Cicotte, Johnson, Grim, Duren, Turley, DelGreco, Skowron, Lumpe, Sturdivant, and Maglie. The Mantle signature on the sweet spot has been deemed a clubhouse version by JSA. Signatures range from "3" to "9," averaging "7/8." This ball comes with a unique provenance: In 1958 Yankees pitcher Bobby Shantz presented it as a gift to his physician's son (our consignor) and it has remained in his sole possession since that time.
