1914 E145 Cracker Jack #32 Mordecai Brown

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $960

Graded VG 40 by SGC. Extremely attractive example of Hall of Famer Mordecai Brown (St. Louis Terriers of the Federal League) from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. This card is bright and clean with a bold red background and virtually no trace of any caramel staining, which is almost unheard of for 1914 #144 Series Cracker Jack cards. The card displays near-perfect centering, with light, even wear to the corners (slightly more in the bottom right). This is a tremendous example of Hall of Famer Mordecai Brown from this classic set that would make an outstanding addition to any high-quality 1914 Cracker Jack, Hall of Fame, or prewar-card collection. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $960
