Circa 1935 R108 Pulver Co. "Pulver Pictures" Near-Complete Set (23/30)
Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $480
Near-complete set of R108 "Pulver Pictures" cards issued by the Pulver Co. of Rochester, New York, missing only seven cards for completion (#103, 111, 117, 122, 124, 126, and 127). This colorful thirty-card set depicts various types of weaponry and battle scenes ranging from David vs. Goliath to tank usage during World War I. Condition on this set is mixed, ranging from Poor to Good; however, despite the modest technical grades, the cards present extremely well and this is still a very attractive set. R108 "Pulver Pictures" cards have always been very highly prized by advanced nonsport-card collectors and this rare near-complete set would make a significant addition to almost any 1930s nonsport-card collection. Total: 23 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $480
