Presented are two ultra high-grade complete sets of 1945-1949 Peerless "Portraits of Movie Stars" Red/Black, each consisting of ten cards and entirely graded by PSA. Both sets are currently listed on the PSA Set Registry and rank second (8.70 GPA) and third (8.40). The cards, which measure 1-1/8 x 2-1/8 inches, feature black-and-white portraits of famous movie stars, set against a red background with their names beneath the portraits. The reverse features advertising for the Peerless Vending Machine Corporation.
