1945 The Three Stooges Micro-Phonies Lobby Card

Lobby card from the 1945 Three Stooges short Micro-Phonies. This was the group's last film in 1945 and was shot shortly after Curly suffered a minor stroke. The plot involved Curly impersonating an opera singer, which led to a running feud between the boys and an Italian singer/violinist. The card (14 x 11 inches) displays approximately twenty-five pinholes in the lower left quadrant, a heavy diagonal corner crease in the lower left, and an embossed property stamp in the center of the bottom border. The stamp of a movie-poster vendor appears on the reverse. In Very Good condition overall. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,500+. SOLD FOR $960
