1943 The Three Stooges Phony Express Lobby Card

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $960

Lobby card from the 1943 Three Stooges short Phony Express. The plot involves the Stooges in the Old West, where they are mistaken for marshals, which leads to a chase for stolen bank money. This scene card pictures the boys dancing at gunpoint. The card (14 x 11 inches) displays a few small edge tears, three tiny areas of light discoloration (two along the right border, one along the base), and a number of light creases. Three small pieces of brown tape appear on the reverse (not in repair of any tears) as do two crossed-out numerical notations in pencil. In Very Good condition. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,500+. SOLD FOR $960
