1942 The Three Stooges What's The Matador Lobby Card

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,680

Lobby card from the 1942 Three Stooges short What's The Matador. In this film, the boys are vaudeville performers who travel to Mexico to perform their bullfight skit, only to end up in the ring with a real bull, which proves to be no match for Curly's hard head. The card (14 x 11 inches) has benefitted from restoration in repair to tack holes, a chip in the lower left corner, and a number of moderate tears. Light creasing is evident throughout and there is minor surface paper loss on the reverse as the result of tape removal (the tape was originally applied to repair the tears). In Very Good condition overall. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,500+. SOLD FOR $1,680
