Thirty-Five Official American and National League Baseballs (Brown and Giamatti) in Their Original Boxes

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $480

Collection of thirty-five Major League baseballs in their original boxes. The collection is comprised of the following: twenty-eight 1985-1989 official American League (Brown) balls and seven 1987-1988 official National League (Giamatti) balls. It should be noted that none of the individual ball boxes are sealed (as issued), and the balls, collectively, are housed in three Rawlings 24-count retail boxes (two American League boxes and one National League box; Vg overall). A few of the American League balls display the slightest hint of age toning; otherwise all remain in their original Near Mint to Mint factory-issued state. The seven National League balls each display light-to-moderate handling wear and range in grade from Excellent to Mint to Near Mint. The individual ball boxes are in Near Mint condition overall with the exception of one National League ball box (Vg). Total: 35 balls in their original boxes. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $480
