1975 New York Yankees Team-Signed Ball with Munson and Hunter

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,320

Official American League (MacPhail) ball signed in blue ink by twenty-nine members of the 1975 New York Yankees, including Munson, Hunter, Howard (sweet spot), Guidry, Bonds, Lyle, Nettles, Piniella, White, Chambliss, Howser (coach), Dempsey, Brinkman, Coggins, Bladt (twice), Stanley, Wright (coach), Hermann, Dobson, Sawyer, Williams, and May. (It should be noted that signature of Billy Martin that appears on the sweet spot has been deemed a clubhouse version by JSA.) The signatures are all fairly uniform in grade, averaging "9/10." This ball was obviously signed late in the season, because Ron Guidry made his major league debut with the Yankees on July 27, 1975, and Billy Martin became manager of the club on August 1st after Bill Virdon was fired. Excellent to Mint condition. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.  Reserve $200. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,320
