Autographed 1952 Topps Collection (30) - All PSA/DNA Encapsulated!

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $7,800

Presented is a collection of thirty different autographed cards from the 1952 Topps set. Each of the cards is graded and encapsulated by PSA (all in red labels with the card, not the signature, graded). 1952 Topps is the ultimate postwar baseball-card set. A completely autographed set is unheard of, but if ever assembled would certainly be considered by many as the ultimate autographed postwar baseball-card set. This collection consists of the following: #61 Gilbert (black back, VG 3, particularly difficult), 76 Stanky (red back, VG-EX 4 [MK]), 77 Kennedy (red back, FR 1.5), 93 Sima (EX 5), 105 Pramesa (VG 3), 117 Lollar (Authentic), 138 MacDonald (GOOD 2), 139 Wood (Authentic), 156 Hiller (Authentic), 167 Howerton (EX 5, particularly difficult), 170 Bell (FR 1.5 [MK]), 174 Marshall (Authentic), 176 Edwards (VG-EX 4), 177 Wight (GOOD 2), 179 Smith (Authentic), 188 Podbielan (GOOD 2 [MC]), 193 Simpson (Authentic), 208 Stuart (VG 3), 229 Beardon (VG-EX 4), 240 Phillips (VG-EX 4 [MC]), 255 Vollmer (Authentic), 275 Mullin (VG 3 [MK]), 276 Wilson (EX 5), 279 (VG 3), 292 (GOOD 2), 300 McCosky (VG-EX 4), 301 Porterfield (VG-EX 4), 302 Surkont (VG-EX 4), 307 Campos (Authentic), and 309 Busby (FR 1.5). Each card is beautifully signed on front (signatures range in grade from "3" to "9", averaging "6/7") in either blue or black ballpoint pen, with seven signed in Sharpie or felt-tip pen. This is a very attractive collection of signed cards from the 1952 Topps set, one of card collecting's great classics. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Total: 30 cards.  Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++. SOLD FOR $7,800
