1952 Topps #312 Jackie Robinson PSA NM 7

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $3,600

Graded NM 7 by PSA. Exceptionally attractive card of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson from the legendary 1952 Topps issue. In addition to being one of the key cards to this classic set, and one of the most famous of all postwar cards, Robinson's 1952 Topps card is part of the rare high-number series (although his card was double-printed and is therefore slightly more available than others from the same series). This is a stunning card! Bright, crisp, and clean, with brilliant, bold colors, and four strong corners (slightly more evidence of wear in the lower right). Centered to the bottom, with a slight tilt to the image, which is common to this card. Perfectly clean, both front and back. Frequently overshadowed by the #311 Mantle from the same set (which is also a high-number series card and also double-printed), #312 Robinson is one of the few cards that defines the 1952 Topps set for collectors. Robinson is also one of the few Hall of Famers found in the 1952 Topps high-number series. This is a superb example that would be very much at home in any high-grade 1952 Topps set, Jackie Robinson, or classic-card collection. The SMR value in the assigned grade is $2,750.  Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $3,600
