1976, 1978, and 1979 Topps Uncut Sheets (6) Including Ryan, Yount, Murray, and Ozzie Smith

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $720

Collection of six 1970s Topps uncut production sheets, with 132 cards on each sheet, complete with printed reverses, loaded with Hall of Famers and stars, including Nolan Ryan, Robin Yount, Reggie Jackson, George Brett, Eddie Murray (rookie), and Ozzie Smith (rookie). These are full 132-card production sheets, each measuring approximately 28.25 x 43 inches, arranged in twelve rows of eleven cards each. 1-4) 1976 Topps: Two sheets feature all different cards, while two sheets include two triple-printed rows of Topps Traded cards (representing sixty-six cards in total on each sheet) and the remaining sixty-six cards on each sheet are different. All four sheets has been stored rolled and display varying imperfections, mostly relegated to the edges, including tiny creases and wear to the corners and edges, all of which are common when dealing with these large uncut sheets. One sheet displays minor fading (likely the result of exposure to light) along the left half, which affects several key cards, including Ryan. The reverse of one sheet has a strip of paper loss affecting approximately a dozen cards. 5) 1978 Topps: Featuring 121 different cards and a single double-printed row. Highlighted by the rookie card of Eddie Murray along the right edge (Excellent). Light wrinkling affecting the interior cards along with minor imperfections along the edges, including creases and wear to the corners, all of which are common when dealing with these large uncut sheets. 6) 1979 Topps: Featuring 121 different cards and a single double-printed row. Highlighted by the rookie card of Ozzie Smith along the left edge (Good). Light creasing affecting the interior cards along with minor imperfections along the edges, including creases and wear to the corners, all of which are common when dealing with these large uncut sheets. While the sheets are in overall modest condition, almost all of them present with bold colors and would be ideal candidates for framing. Six relatively affordable uncut sheets from these classic 1970s Topps issues, highlighted by several key Hall of Famers. Total: 6 sheets.   Reserve $300. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $720
