Offered is a partial set of twenty-five cards (out of forty-eight) from the 1948 Bowman series, the first baseball-card set issued by Bowman Gum, highlighted by several key cards, including rookie cards of Hall of Famers Bob Feller, Stan Musial, and Warren Spahn. Twenty-three cards are graded and encapsulated by PSA. PSA Grading Composite: Three NM-MT 8: #23 (OC), 26 (OC), and 39 (OC). Three NM 7: #11, 32, and 48. Five EX-MT 6: #2, 10, 19, 20, and 38 Schoendienst (HOF). Two EX 5: #4 Mize (HOF) and 27. Five VG-EX 4: #9, 12, 18 Spahn RC (HOF), 34, and 36 Musial RC (HOF). Three VG 3: #1, 5 Feller RC (HOF), and 33 (MK). One GOOD+ 2.5: #3 Kiner RC (HOF). One GOOD 2: #28. Two Ungraded: #21 (handcut, otherwise Vg-Ex) and 31 (Gd).
