1914 E145 Cracker Jack #2 Frank Baker
Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $600
Graded VG 40 by SGC (submitted by REA). Attractive example of key Hall of Famer Frank Baker (Philadelphia Athletics) from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. Flawless colors and registration, perfect centering, and even rounding to the corners. Light caramel staining (which is expected with #144 series Cracker Jacks because of their method of issue, as all 1914 cards were issued in boxes of Cracker Jacks, as opposed to in factory sets). As the #2 card in the set, Baker is an all-the-more difficult card to find in high grade. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are also far rarer than their 1915 counterparts. An outstanding addition to any 1914 Cracker Jack set or Hall of Fame collection. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $600
