1909-1911 T206 White Border Vive Lindaman Complete Advertising Back Collection (7) Including Brown Hindu and Rare Piedmont 350

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,560

Presented is an impressive collection of seven T206 Vive Lindaman cards, each featuring a different advertisement and factory number on the reverse. The extraordinary nature of this collection is easily seen even at a glance, and this grouping represents a complete collection of all known T206 advertising backs for this card. Obviously, a great deal of time and effort has been invested in the assembly of this collection. All seven cards are professionally graded and encapsulated (five PSA and two SGC). This collection consists of the following: Two EX 5: El Principe de Gales and Piedmont 150 Factory 25 (SGC EX 60). Four VG-EX 4: Brown Hindu, Piedmont 350 Factory 25 (important note: Lindaman is one of an exclusive group of twelve players who are extremely difficult to acquire with the Piedmont 350 reverse. Only one complete collection of twelve is known to exist.), Sweet Caporal 150 Factory 25, and Sweet Caporal 150 Factory 30 (SGC VG/EX 50). One VG 3: Sovereign 150 Factory 25. T206s are the single most important and highly collected of all 1910-era cards. One of the primary characteristics of the T206 set is that most players are featured with different advertising on the reverses. Each card is a striking and high-quality example on its own, but together they complement one another, and tell part of the story of the T206 set. This is an incredible collection of every known advertising back (including the rare Piedmont 350) for Vive Lindaman within the T206 set. Total: 7 cards.  Reserve $300. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $1,560
