1909-1911 T206 White Border Harry Howell Hand at Waist - El Principe De Gales Back - Recently Confirmed!

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $480

Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. High-quality T206 White Border example of Harry Howell (hands at waist) featuring the desirable El Principe De Gales advertising reverse. El Principe De Gales is a scarce back, certainly not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but very unusual and seen far less often than the standard Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising backs. The offered card is especially noteworthy as it is a just recently confirmed front/back combination according to (To date, for both PSA and SGC, only one other example is documented in the SGC Population Report.) The card presents with bold colors and a crisp image. Four strong corners, with a small crease in the lower left corner, and centering towards the bottom. Clean reverse. While not the highest-graded card in the auction, this example is extremely significant for its recently confirmed front and back combination (suggesting it is quite rare) and would make an outstanding addition to even the most advanced collection.  Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $480
