1968 to 1970 Topps Test Issue Card Collection (3) Including "Room 222" and "Hee Haw"
Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $360
Outstanding trio of sample cards from three desirable Topps test issues dating to between 1968 and 1970. 1) 1968 Topps "Julia" Two-Card Panel: #19 Marc Copage and 25 Diahann Carroll. Measuring approximately 3-7/16 x 5 inches, this two-card panel features black-and-whtie portraits of both actors on front and is numbered in blue on the reverse out of thirty-three. The panel presents as Excellent when viewed from the front except for a small crease present in the upper left corner. The reverse displays production notations as well as paper loss and album residue, indicative of having once been housed in Topps file binders used to keep a record of all cards produced by the company. Accompanied by a COA from Topps Vault. 2) 1969 Topps "Room 222:" #7 Seymour Kaufman (PSA NM-MT 8). 3) 1970 Topps "Hee Haw:" #54 "What Did Your Teenage Daughter Do Last Summer?" (PSA NM 7). Each of these cards is extremely rare, and we have never before offered even a single example from the "Julia" or "Hee Haw" sets. A superb trio of Topps test cards worthy of even the most advanced nonsport-card collection. Total: 3 items (2 cards and one panel). Reserve $300. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $360
