Complete Single-Signed Hall of Famer "Stat-Ball" Collection (30)

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $4,444

Complete collection of all thirty limited-edition "Stat Balls" issued by ReggieJackson.com/HMG. This is an amazing group of signed baseballs, each of which was limited in number to just 1,000. Twenty-nine Hall of Fame players are featured in the issue, plus Pete Rose. Each player has signed his respective ball in blue ink across the sweet spot, with the four side panels bearing a number of handwritten career statistics and/or achievements, usually totaling from ten to fifteen in number. While we have seen individual stat balls from this project turn up occasionally, this is just the third complete set of thirty we have ever seen offered at auction. All of the balls are either official Major League (Selig), National League (Coleman), or American League (Budig) examples. Ten of the balls display varying degrees of light age toning; otherwise, all are in Near Mint to Mint condition. Each ball displays either a ReggieJackson.com or HMG certification label that also includes the ball's unique limitation number. Unless otherwise noted, all of the signatures and inscriptions grade "9" or "10." In our listing, we have identified the player, the certification label, and the limitation number. The collection is comprised of the following: 1) Tony Gwynn (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 2) Ernie Banks (HMG, 59/1,000); 3) Fergie Jenkins (RJ.com, 83/1,000, slight fading to some of the inscriptions); 4) Brooks Robinson (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 5) Johnny Bench (HMG, 68/1,000); 6) Pete Rose (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 7) Bob Feller (RJ.com, 224/1,000); 8) Mike Schmidt (HMG, 80/1,000); 9) Lou Brock (HMG, 99/1,000); 10) Al Kaline (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 11) Duke Snider (HMG, 59/1,000); 12) Gary Carter (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 13) Juan Marichal (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 14) Nolan Ryan (HMG, 154/1,000); 15) Tony Perez (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 16) Stan Musial (HMG, 99/1,000); 17) Jim Palmer (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 18) Bill Mazeroski (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 19) Rod Carew (HMG, 59/1,000); 20) Rollie Fingers (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 21) Bob Gibson (HMG, 176/1,000); 22) Orlando Cepeda (HMG, 59/1,000); 23) Don Sutton (RJ.com, 99/1,000); 24) Joe Morgan (HMG, 53/1,000); 25) Reggie Jackson (HMG, 86/1,000); 26) Tom Seaver (HMG, 286/1,000); 27) Frank Robinson (HMG, 177/1,000); 28) Kirby Puckett (RJ.com, 99/1,000, signature grades "6/7," light fading to the stats); 29) Gaylord Perry (RJ.com, 411/1,000); 30) Harmon Killebrew (RJ.com, 99/1,000).
