1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Champions Team-Signed Ball with Robinson and Campanella

Official National League (Giles) ball signed in blue and black ink by twenty-three members of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers, including Robinson, Campanella, Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Labine, Gilliam, Erskine, Spooner, Amoros, Kellert, Hodges, Bessent, Walker, Roebuck, Howell (sweet spot), and Hoak. Like many Brooklyn Dodgers balls from this era, the offered ball features the following eight clubhouse signatures: Reese, Snider, Newcombe, Craig, Shuba, Meyer, Loes, and Furillo. The black-ink notation "1955 World Series" is printed on the sweet spot, just below Alston's signature. Signatures range from "2" to "7," averaging "4/5." The ball is lightly toned and displays a few minor abrasions. In Very Good to Excellent condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,185
