1956 Brooklyn Dodgers National League Champions Team-Signed Ball

Official National League (Giles) ball signed in blue ink by the following twenty-five members of the 1956 National League Champion Brooklyn Dodgers: Campanella, Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Reese, Snider, Koufax, Drysdale, Lehman, Newcombe, Hodges, Cimoli, Walker, Fernandez, Gilliam, Erskine, Pitler (coach), Howell, Labine, Branca, Craig, Maglie (sweet spot), Zimmer, Neal, Becker (coach), Furillo, and one other (illegible). The blue-ink notation "1956 Dodgers" is written in vintage blue ink across the ball label. Signatures range from "7" to "9," averaging "8," with the exception of Reese ("3/4"). The ball displays a thin semicircular indentation on a side panel (from a former ball holder; touching upon the signature of Zimmer), as well as a small abrasion on a different side panel touching upon the Snider signature. Those two minor condition anomalies aside, the ball is in Excellent to Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA.
